Pro Duta was originally known as Bandung Putra during the amateur years as a member club of the infamous Persib Bandung. In 1986, an entrepreneur and football enthusiast, Mr. Denny Susanto took the club private and had managed the club ever since. In 1987, the newly acquired club won the first division competition amongst Persib Bandung's club members. Pro Duta has been dubbed as a wonder baby for its achievements in being promoted for three consecutive years, climbing up the ladder from the Third Division in 2006 to the Premiere Division in 2008. In 2009, Pro Duta competed in the Premier Division for the first time under new management.[3]
Now, their name changed to Pro Titan.
In early 2009, the ownership of Pro Duta was sold to Altus Group Ltd. under the flag ship of PT. Altus Logistic, a plantation company. The Royal Black Stallion, Pro Duta FC's nickname, changed its club's logo and name to Pro Duta FC Indonesia. Under new management, Pro Duta FC will continue to be independent of government funding and be a privately operated professional football club in Indonesia. For the apparel, Pro Duta FC is supported by Nike in providing all apparel needed by team, both for the competitions and exercises. Moreover, Pro Duta FC Indonesia develops a sustainable partnership with the World's Organization of Children and commits to support one of UNICEF social campaigns in Indonesia, that is Cintai Anak Indonesia. The Royal Black Stallion concerns to support the Children of Indonesia as the next generation.
